It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything here. That isn’t to say that I’ve been inactive as a reader. You can find my countless Minor League Met posts on www.Mets360.com and there is also my newest project… something a bit less “Vile”.
I began a project a few months ago and for over a month managed to add a page a day to what grew from a Short Story into a Novella.
The Super Hero Fiction follows the adventures of an unlikely Hero, Roy Thompson, who had previously found employment as a professional henchman.
The tongue and cheek story exists within a world where superheroes exist both on the pages of their comic books and on the streets. (Heroes like Doctor Amazing, Cat Man from Kathmandu and the vaunted Guy Turbo do battle with the likes of Professor Von Death, Brock the Rock and Baron Wilderness.)
When a lowly underling, like Roy, does the unthinkable and breaks the unwritten code of Hero/Villain ethics, a chain of events begins with potentially explosive consequences. Can the henchman become a hero like all those he’s always idolized?
I’ll be posting a writing sample in the near future.
